The energy rate and billing basis
Ask whether billing uses measured consumption, nominal power or a fixed allowance. Confirm the billing period and how downtime is handled. A monthly estimate should state its assumptions.
Note the rate’s currency and the invoice currency. If they differ, ask which exchange rate applies and when it is determined. Applicable taxes should also be clarified in the offer.

Make an equivalent calculation
For a hypothetical 3.5 kW miner, an uninterrupted 30-day month represents 2,520 kWh: 3.5 × 24 × 30. Apply the electricity rate to that amount, then add cooling and management charges using their stated calculation method.
Separate recurring charges from initial fees. Show the deposit separately, since its treatment depends on the agreement. Use the same duration, consumption and currency to compare offers.

- Contract duration and renewal terms.
- Monitoring access and incident reporting procedure.
- Treatment of maintenance, outages and repairs.
- Control of the pool and receiving addresses.
- Cancellation, equipment retrieval and shipping terms.
Get an answer that fits your hardware
Include exact models, quantity and timeline for a more useful assessment. Identify used equipment, known modifications and any repairs that may be needed.
Retain a copy of the agreed terms. If an item is missing or unclear, have it specified in writing before accepting. Compare services and responsibilities alongside the energy rate.
